John Cena recently chatted with TARAOnTV's Tara Hitchcock about a range of issues. John Cena told Hitchcock that he's currently filming the HBO Max series Peacemaker and hinted that he might not be in SummerSlam: The Ultimate Fighter.

"That was a great approach to go about it! Please accept my heartfelt apologies. Peacemaker is currently being filmed. Today I'm talking to a number of people. My thoughts are a little jumbled. It would be wonderful to be able to bestow that diamond upon you, but there's a lot going on. I don't want to set unrealistic expectations." Cena stated.

 

Cena's interview with Tara Hitchcock is one of the dozens he's conducted in the last two weeks. The F9 actor is busy promoting the film, and he just chatted with Games Radar about his involvement. The entire interview may be seen in the video above this paragraph.

 

The Peacemaker has a huge role in the next Suicide Squad film, and John Cena is doing everything he can to hype it up. Cena recently performed several interviews in his complete Suicide Squad costume, and the film's director, James Gunn, also tweeted about it.

 

 

It's not a stretch to suggest that John Cena hasn't had a busy year in a long time.

John Cena hasn't been a regular performer on WWE TV in what seems like an eternity. After he became a part-timer, the WWE legend's star power grew even more.

His successful acting career in Hollywood has a lot to do with it. John Cena has landed a number of major film roles, but his hiring in the ninth chapter of the Fast & Furious franchise has gotten the most attention.

 

 

It's plausible that Cena didn't want to say much about his likely SummerSlam encounter with Hitchcock because he wants to keep it a mystery.

For much of this year, Cena has been filming The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker, and other films, which has resulted in him missing WrestleMania for the first time since 2003.
